Step-by-step guide for setup on an Android device for AnonVPN.

NOTE

To use AnonVPN on your mobile device, you must have your login details available as provided on the signup page here

Step 1

Open your Settings menu and choose "More Networks..." on some versions of Android this is under "Wireless & Networks".

Choose "VPN".

Click the + sign at the top right.

Choose "Enter your VPN information" You can name your connection anything you want. Please make sure you choose PPTP and check the box for "PPP encryption (MPPE)".

  • pptp-usa-east.anonvpn.io
  • pptp-usa-west.anonvpn.io
  • pptp-usa-central.anonvpn.io
  • pptp-ca.anonvpn.io

Step 5

Enter your login details. Please prepend “anonvpn-“ to your user name as in the picture above. Check the box to allow your device to remember this information to avoid entering this information in the future.

Click Connect and the device will begin authorizing your account for use.

Once you have successfully connected you will see "Connected" just under the network name AnonVPN. You can verify at any time you are connected by looking in the top left hand corner for the key as shown in the picture above.
